Vancouver Linux Installfest II 1998
The Vancouver Linux Users Group will hold a second Installfest on Sunday, October 25, 1998. Place: Brock Hall Annex, Rm 351 at UBC. See this map for directions (Brock Hall is near the centre of this (zoomed) map, Parking at UBC is typically not free. See the UBC Parking & Security page for more information. It may be possible to park for free in the University Village and walk to Brock. The North Parkade (pay) is closer, however.
Installations are restricted to previously-registered users. Others are welcome to attend the presentations, observe installations in progress and ask questions.
Presentations
Brian Bray will give a talk on "Installing Linux" at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
