VanLUG AGM, Award Ceremony, and Social - May 17, 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting
of the Vancouver Linux Users Group Society will be held on
Monday 17 May 2010 at 7.30 pm at Room 4675, Building SW3, BCIT Burnaby campus.
The agenda for the evening is:
A) AGM
- The Year in Review
- Financial Report
- Membership Dues Review
- Board Elections
B) Presentation of the VanLUG Dave Michelson Award.
C) Evening Social: food and beverages at Prof. Mugs pub at BCIT.
All interested people are invited to attend our AGM but only paid
members may vote. Memberships will be available for purchase before
the meeting at the current price of $10.00.
All VanLUG members are eligible to run for the board of directors and
nominations for all positions are accepted from the floor. Board
positions include: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership
Secretary, and any number of member-at-large positions.
Please do come out and show support for your user group.

the AGM. Due to circumstances 000-200 we haven't sold a single membership for
2010. What can we do according to the VanLUG charter, or what should
we do? Everybody get a vote at the 70-270 AGM? Sell memberships at the AGM?
