Vancouver Linux Users Group

As usual no VanLUG meetings are scheduled for July and August. The next season will get underway 21 September 2009.

At the April 20, 2009 AGM the following people were elected to the VanLUG Board of Directors:

• Kim Kulak - Chair
• Ryan Land - Vice Chair
• Ben Holt - Treasurer
• Guy Lancaster - Secretary
• Georges Rodier - Membership Secretary
• Bill McGrath - Director at Large
• Patrick Sandi - Director at Large
• Mark Norman - Director at Large

Now that the legal requirements have been fulfilled I'd like to remind you that the actual running of VanLUG is performed by the Steering Group and your participation in the steering group is encouraged, and greatly appreciated by the board. So if you have any interest in the operation of VanLUG, complaints, suggestions for events or speakers, or any other thoughts about VanLUG you are welcome to join the VanLUG-SG email list http://www.robomod.net/mailman/listinfo/vanlug-sg and post your comments there.
